Modern organic and medicinal chemistry relies heavily on metal-catalyzed reaction types to build up complex, biologically active compounds. As these reaction types are usually very substrate-dependent and still an active field of academic research, resulting in constant development of new ligands and catalysts, finding suitable reaction conditions for the construction of a desired compound can be challenging and resource-intensive.

 

High-throughput screening for feasible reaction conditions can offer a time- and material-saving solution but requires specialized facilities and know-how that not every company can provide in-house.

We at Enamine Germany offer high-throughput reaction condition screening for a variety of metal-catalyzed reaction types as a service for you to accelerate the synthesis and H2L campaigns.

 

This includes:

➡️ substrate-dependent choice of catalysts, ligands, bases, and solvents for the reaction type of interest based on the latest findings of academic research and in-house expertise;

➡️ miniaturized and thus resource-saving screening set-up using ChemBead® Technology for precise dosing of small amounts of catalysts and ligands;

➡️ glovebox equipment for oxygen-free reaction set-up;

➡️ accurate evaluation of screening results using LC/MS;

➡️ possibility of hit validation and scale-up.

 

All screenings are performed by experienced chemists on a Ph.D. level with a strong background in catalysis and parallel chemistry.
